Another fine church also occurs on this walk at Hilton, which has medieval paintings of the twelve apostles and a very picturesque setting in a wooded valley above thatched roofs. We visited on a Craft fair which was well attended and the Abbey was very interesting to visit and in picturesque setting well worth a visit if in the area.
